The goal was to provide wayfinding to connect the “towns” of Vancouver; Downtown, Chinatown, Gastown, and Yaletown through a concept that would reflect the area’s cultural identity and locate key orientation points along the route between Hamilton St. to Mainland. The above entry gate would welcome pedestrians and cyclists into Chinatown from the adjacent skytrain stop.
