Magic Lies Outside

“The flower in me, recognizes the flower in you, and for that I am grateful” – meditations

Our concept “flower of Life” was created in response to the theme “The Magic Lies Outside” for Les Jardins De Metis competition held in Montreal. The 4m+ elevated sculpture deconstructs one of the fundamental patterns found in nature, The Flower of Life.

This ancient idea is based on Sacred Geometries and is often thought of as the blueprint of creation. When the viewer approaches the sculpture it looks alien, however when viewed from below, its mirrored rings reflect the surroundings and puts the viewer in the centre of the reflection. This is where the magic of the art comes together with its surroundings to reveal that nature holds The “Magic” that lies outside.
